Presents works by a number of different composers, each inspired by a location that shaped their creation. From the trilling insects in the Thai countryside to the soulful landscapes of Norway and the serene shores of Hawaii, this program honors the deeply personal connection between place and music.

Launching its inaugural season in January 2026, Noise Cabinet is a concert series based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Featuring several thoughtfully curated concerts, the series will explore a wide spectrum of sound, from solo works and chamber music to acoustic and electro-acoustic compositions.

As a violinist passionate about new music, it is an incredible honor to commission, perform, and advocate for the work of living composers. Whether collaborating with students, emerging voices, or established artists, I find deep joy in the creative process and in bringing new works to life.

48 Saint Stephen is an adventurous ensemble whose mission is to develop a sense of closeness between the old and new, and a timelessness that holds them together.  The duo is deeply committed to works by living composers as well as masterpieces from the traditional canon, and they create concert experiences that connect repertoire from the likes of Bach, Mozart, and Prokofiev to today’s most experimental music.
