  • Thai countryside

    People & Places

    A solo violin project which presents a collection of works, each inspired by a location that shaped their creation. From the trilling insects in the Thai countryside to the serene shores of Hawaiʻi, this program honors the deeply personal connection between place and music.

    Noise Cabinet

    Noise Cabinet is a concert series created for listeners with openness and curiosity. Through several thoughtfully curated programs, the series offers a wide range of sounds from solo works and chamber music, to acoustic and electro-acoustic compositions.

    48 Saint Stephen

    48 Saint Stephen is an adventurous violin and piano duo with Angela Kim. The ensemble’s mission is to develop a sense of closeness between the old and new, and a timelessness that holds them together. 

  • The Space Between

    The Space Between is a collaboration between violinist Clara Kim, multi-instrumentalist artist gamin, and composer Juri Seo. Through Korean gugak, Western European classical tradition, and newly created works shaped by both, the project celebrates music as a site of dialogue, belonging, and creative transformation.

  • Mumford Concerto

    This newly commissioned work will be a chamber concerto to be written by Jeffrey Mumford for Clara Kim and BlackBox Ensemble. It promises to be a richly layered celebration of Clara’s singular musical voice, as well as her passionate, insightful virtuosity.

    East | West

    In East | West, violinist Clara Kim and geomungo artist Iksoo Heo come together for a program that both reflects and celebrates Eastern and Western musical traditions. The project offers works that honor the past while embracing new, boundary-crossing creations.
