Noise Cabinet is a concert series in collaboration with Capitol Modern: the Hawaiʻi State Art Museum which explores the creativity of our generationʻs artists. Created for listeners with openness and curiosity, these thoughtfully curated programs offer a wide range of sounds from solo works and chamber music, to acoustic and electro-acoustic compositions.

48 Saint Stephen
48 Saint Stephen is an adventurous ensemble whose mission is to develop a sense of closeness between the old and new, and a timelessness that holds them together. The duo is deeply committed to works by living composers as well as masterpieces from the traditional canon, and they create concert experiences that connect repertoire from the likes of Bach, Mozart, and Prokofiev to today’s most experimental music.

In East | West, violinist Clara Kim and geomungo artist Iksoo Heo come together in a unique musical collaboration that explores cultural exchange, artistic discovery, and - at its core - a shared humanity. This program is both a reflection and a celebration of Eastern and Western musical traditions, offering works that honor the past while embracing new, boundary-crossing creations.
