Clara Kim

is a creative who believes in fostering curiosity, empathy, and expressive freedom through music

A woman with short black hair, wearing glasses and a black top, holding a violin in front of her, standing against a dark gray background.

As a violinist, curator, and educator, Clara frequently collaborates with others.  A curious listener, she enjoys learning about other people - how they think, what they feel, how they absorb the world around them.

Clara has commissioned and premiered countless pieces by established, emerging, and student composers alike, and has worked with some of today’s most imaginative musical voices.  As a performer, she loves connecting with audiences, people, and communities around the globe.  Clara’s significant engagements include performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, and Jordan Hall.
